School games

Well done to Our Ladys on their Quarter Final win over Thurles CBS on Wednesday last in the Rice Cup Competition.

The semi-final is expected to be played next week against Ard Scoil Ris or Middleton CBS.

Scór (All Ireland Final)

After another magnificent performance in Recitation, Noel Joyce had to settle for a runner up spot in the All Ireland Final held in Killarney last Saturday night. Despite the long journey back home, the travelling supporters and friends received a mighty homecoming reception in Clonmore to a packed hall where Noel delivered another sample of shear natural talent to a hugely receptive audience. Have no doubts, Noel will be back competing at the very highest level next year. Well done to the organising committee for their help and support with refreshments afterwards.

Co Board Draw

A very successful launch of the 2012-2013 Co. Board draw took place at the Templemore Arms Hotel on last Friday night. At the conclusion of the Launch a number of Club promoters who have been promoter since the Co. Board began were presented with Certificates by the County Board in appreciation of their work over that period.

Club wishes to convey its thanks to all who supported the last draw through our club, also our thanks to all promoters, for their magnificent work to help raise a substantial amount of much needed finance toward the day to day running of our club. As usual this time of the year promoter will be seeking support on clubs behalf for the upcoming draw, which is starting in May 2012

J K Brackens Juvenile

JK Brackens Juvenile club were in action at u 10, 12 and 14 age groups this week.  The U 12 b team were against Boherlahen with a draw match of 1:0 a piece.  It was a very close match with the low score reflective of a very defensive display from both sides. The u 14 football team were in action against Holycross where a draw was the result 3:7 a piece. Saturday 21st of April saw the first round of the community games north Tipperary football competition.  Templemore defeated Moycarkey 3:8 to 1:2.  In a fantastic game of football both sides served up a thrilling contest with the skills of Gaelic football on display. The scoreline does not reflect the tight encounter, but it was templemore’s ability to get scores at vital times which proved decisive.  Kevin sheedy, Jack Nevin and James Corcoran were to the fore in what was truly a great team performance.  We wish Templemore the very best of luck this Wednesday 25 th in the U 10 Hurling community games first round against Moycarkey in Littleton at 7 pm.
