This evening there are a number of games in the A and B championship. Brackens v Sarsfields in Templemore @ 7.30 pm - A championship. Drom v Moycarkey in the Ragg @ 7.30 pm - A championship. Holycross v Upperchurch in Holycross @ 7.45 pm- A championship. Gortnahoe v Boherlahan in Gortnahoe @ 7.30 pm- B championship. Loughmore v Moyne – Templetuohy Og in Castleiney @ 7.30pm- B championship.

Thurles Wholesale Cash & Carry Junior B Hurling Championship

In Rd 3Knock defeated Boherlahan by3-11 to 0-17.

Donal and Rose Younge Under 21 A Hurling Championship 2013

There was one game played last weekend in Rd 1 of the U21 A hurling championship and Loughmore came out on top defeating Holycross by 0-20 to 0-16.

Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship Round 3 Draw

The draw for Round 3 of the Clean Ireland Recycling Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship took place on Monday evening July 1st and is as follows - Moycarkey-Borris v Roscrea, Toomevara v Templederry Kenyons, Nenagh Eire Og v Upperchurch-Drombane, Borris-Ileigh v Cappawhite or Burgess.

The semi-final draw for the Seamus O’Riain Cup is as follows – Thurles Sarsfields v Borrisokane, Lorrha-Dorrha v Carrick Davins.

The Senior Hurling relegation semi-final draw is as follows – Moneygall v Cashel King Cormacs, Boherlahan-Dualla v Golden-Kilfeacle.

Thurles Sarsfields International Hurling Festival

After all the weeks and months of preparation and planning Thurles Sarsfields third International Hurling Festival is ready to commence this Friday evening. This year’s festival will also include road bowling, wheelchair hurling, camogie, Camán Abú and other social events. Sixteen teams will take part in the hurling festival and it promises to be a great weekend. We encourage as many people as possible to come along and support the festival where all competitions have no admission fee. We wish Thurles Sarsfields club every success with the festival.

Holycross – Ballycahill GAA Club - Cut Loose and Country Festival

Another festival that deserves your support is the Cut Loose and Country Festival which is being run by Holycross- Ballycahill GAA Club and will feature some of Ireland’s biggest Country and Irish acts. The festival is being held in Holycross GAA field on Sunday July 21st. Tickets are very reasonable priced at € 20. The music festival will commence at 1pm and finish at 7pm. There will be free parking available. The aim of the festival is to help clear the debt on the magnificent and state of the art John Doyle Centre which was opened in 2011 and also to meet the on-going costs of running the club. Upperchurch – Drombane GAA

The Annual Golf Classic gets underway on the 18th & 19th of July in the Tipperary Golf & Country Club, Dundrum. Anyone wishing to book a tee off time or sponsor a tee box please contact club secretary Donal Hayes on 087-1176433. Entry price of € 220 per team of four and dinner is included on the day. The top prize is two rounds of four ball in the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club.
