Tipperary Manager Declan Ryan was “happy enough” with his sides performance in the Waterford Crystal opener at Dolla on Sunday.
Having watched his charges recover from a slow start to record an eleven point victory, the Clonoulty Rossmore man admitted that there is plenty to work on in the coming weeks.
“It was a good workout for us. We have plenty of work to do – a lot of work to do actually. It was a better start than we had twelve months ago to the Waterford Crystal and we are happy enough with it,” he said.
Tipp have been back in the training field for a few weeks now, on top of all the winter gym work undertaken prior to Christmas. And, it is showing.
