West Tipperary village greatly saddened by three recent local deaths

RECENT DEATHS


The death occurred recently at Deerpark, Nursing Home, of Noreen Hassett, Lattin West.

Predeased by her parents Paddy and Mary and sister Rita (Magee, Belfast), she is survived by her brothers Danny (Tipperary), Neil (Shronell), Patsy (Dublin), sisters, Breda (Whelan, Birmingham), Kathleen (Dublin) and Anne (Halligan, Galbally), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt Ellen (Florida), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.


Following Requiem Mass at the Church of the Assumption, Lattin, cremation took place in Shannon Crematorium.


The death has also occurred at South Tipperary University Hospital, after a brief illness, of Maura Merrick (nee Young), Ballinulty, and formerly of Silvermines, Nenagh.


Predeceased by her husband Donal and brother Chris, she is survived by her children Margaret, Christy, Brenda, Pat, Sammy, Mary, Helen and Noreen, sisters Sadie (Martin) and Josie (Costelloe), brothers Samuel and Tim, sisters-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.


Her Requiem Mass took place in St. Patrick's Church, Cullen, followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Tipperary.


Sympathy is also extended to the Redican Family on the death of Patrick (Paddy) Redican, Limerick Junction.
