Tonight's minor game in Shannon is a sell out
Tonight's Munster Minor hurling championship opener between Tipperary and Clare is now officially a sellout.
Tonight's game in Wolfe Tones GAA club in Shannon garnered great interest but the capacity for this game is limited to 1,000 spectators and all tickets have now been sold.
Munster GAA have advised those intending on travelling today that "every person attending requires a ticket, including Under 16s so if you do not have a ticket, please do not travel to the game."
Tipp manager James Woodlock is in his third year in charge and he says he will continue to prepare as best he can. Last year Tipp and Clare played out an incredible high intensity Munster final. Woodlock's side forced a draw late on before winning a penalty shootout at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.
Four of the first twenty-four from last year’s All-Ireland final panel are available for Tipp, including new captain Jamie Ormond, Sam Rowan, Evan Morris and Robbie Ryan.
The game is being streamed live by Munster GAA and details can be found on the Munster GAA website.
