This evening's South Tipperary hurling final postponed as mark of respect

The O'Sullivan Insurance Under 19A Hurling Final between Carrick Swan and St Mary's which was scheduled to be played this evening (Wednesday) in Monroe has been postponed.

As a mark of respect to the families (McSweeney, Coffey and Murphy) the South Tipperary GAA Board has postponed all games scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday of this week, including the O'Sullivan Insurance Under 19A Hurling Final between Carrick Swan and St Mary's which was scheduled to be played this evening (Wednesday) in Monroe.

Two games originally planned for this Thursday, August 31, have also been postponed as a mark of respect to the bereaved families as this very sad time.

Those two games were U/19 B Hurling Championship Semi-Finals, Ballingarry v Fethard in Cloneen, and Clonmel Og V St Patrick’s in Ardfinnan.

Action in the South Division will resume on Friday evening.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1
Junior B Hurling League Semi-Final
Killenaule V Swan in Cloneen at 6.30 pm. (Extra-time and must finish on the night).

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3
U19 A Football Championship Semi-Final
Clonmel Commercials v Killenaule in Ned Hall Park at 6.30 pm. (Extra-time and must finish on the night).
