A large crowd has celebrated the reopening of an iconic Tipperary pub under new ownership.
Tipperary TD, Michael Lowry, said: "I was delighted to join a large crowd in The Ragg on Saturday to celebrate its reopening under new ownership.
"Rose and Rosie Younge finished their long and successful tenure at Younge’s The Ragg last weekend, I would like to extend my best wishes to them both into the future.
"The collaboration of six parishioners coming together to acquire The Ragg is testament to the community spirit that exists in the parish of Drom and Inch.
"The Ragg is the only public house remaining in the parish and is vital to the local community. It is wonderful to see that its place in the community has been secured into the future.
"I look forward to more memorable nights in The Ragg and wish the new proprietors the very best in their exciting new venture."
