WELL DONE: This Tipperary town has taken first place at All-Ireland Pride of Place awards

There were celebrations in one Tipperary town this weekend after it lifted first place in the annual IPB All-Ireland Pride of Place competition.

Nenagh took the award in the category over a town with over 4,000 of a population at the awards ceremony on Friday night.

After the announcement, Nenagh Municipal District administrator Rosemary Joyce posted on her Facebook page: "So proud to be here in the Armagh City Hotel for the awards ceremony. Well done to Silver Arch Family Resource Centre, Ballygraigue Court, and, of course Nenagh Municipal District."
