The storm will be strongest overnight
Tipperary was upgraded to Status Red warning during early hours of Monday between 2am and 5am.
The Premier County is now in a Status Orange wind warning until 10am on Monday morning.
Met Eireann has advised that there will be severe and damaging gusts with the possibility of damage to exposed and vulnerable structures as well as dangerous travelling conditions with disruption to services and damage to power lines.
Met Eireann weather warnings will be monitored in the event.
