Tipperary choir to perform for the first time since before the Covid pandemic

Vivaldi’s Gloria will be the principal work being showcased by Clontempo Choir, under the baton of Robin Pender, on Saturday, November 25 at St Mary’s Parish Church, Irishtown, Clonmel, beginning at 7.30 p.m.

Local woman, Kelley Lonergan Petcu, will be the soprano soloist with Gina Oberoi-Engela, also well-known in Clonmel, as the mezzo-soprano .

Both women will perform a short repertoire individually and together with keyboard accompaniment by Marina Moskalyk.
A small orchestra comprising strings, trumpet and oboe will greatly add to the musical excitement of what promises to be an enjoyable evening of choral and vocal music.

This is the first time this choir, formed in 2017, will have performed since before the Covid pandemic and they would love to invite members of the public to join them with tickets on the door being available at €10.
It is with thanks to the generosity of Tipperary County Council that such a project is made possible.
