An Garda Síochána have announced the transfer of Garda Chief Superintendent Brian Sugrue, a native of Cloughjordan, to the Garda Training College in Templemore.
Chief Supt. Sugrue's new appointment took effect from Monday, November 13. His previous role was Regional Chief Superintendent for the Southern Region that comprises Tipperary, Clare, Limerick, Cork and Kerry. He had been based in Thurles Garda Station while in that post.
