LIVE STREAM: Shane MacGowan's funeral takes place in Tipperary as A-listers turn out

The funeral mass of Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan is taking place at St Mary’s of the Rosary Church in Nenagh, Tipperary, at 3.30pm this afternoon.

For as many people as possible to have a chance to say their own Slán to Shane, this morning's funeral procession through Dublin will be followed by a funeral mass in Nenagh, which will be broadcast live, and then a final farewell procession through Nenagh town.

Having left Dublin this morning, the cortege left the M7 at the Thurles junction, passing through Tyone, before heading along Kenyon Street, Pearse Street and Church Road, where it entered the church grounds for Shane's funeral Mass at 3.30pm.
