BREAKING: Four people injured in three-car collision in Tipperary

Four people have been injured in a three-car collision on a road between Holycross and Thurles.

Gardaí arrested a man following the collision and he is currently being detained.

The accident happened at around 6:45pm yesterday, Tuesday, February 27.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene on the R660, Holycross to Thurles road.

The road remains closed pending an examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Local diversions are in place.

Gardaí say enquiries are ongoing.
