Submissions on the application must be submitted to Tipperary County Council by Tuesday June 18
Plans have been unveiled for a retirement village in Clonmel.
The planning application, submitted by Gerard Norris, is seeking permission for the construction of a retirement village at Glenconnor, Clonmel, with 50 residential units, consisting of 28 two-bed units, 22 one-bed units and one facility building.
The construction of all roads, footpaths, underground services, public open space and public lighting is included in the proposed development.
The application is also seeking permission for connection to the existing foul sewer network, and the existing surface water drainage network.
All associated site boundary and site development works, including the partial demolition of the existing boundary wall to create a new pedestrian and vehicular entrance from Glenview Close, Ballingarrane, are also included in the plans.
Submissions on the development must be submitted to Tipperary County Council by Tuesday June 18 and a decision is due on Tuesday July 9.
The application was lodged with the council on May 15.
