Tipperary farmers win big at this year's National Dairy Awards

Dromineer farmer Peter Clarke took home the award at this year's finals

Recipients from 21 different categories were called upon the stage at the 2024 National Dairy Awards earlier this month to celebrate their high achievements made in the sector.

This was the second year of the awards, which were held in the Midlands Park Hotel Portlaoise, Co. Laois on Thursday, June 13.

The AXA Overall National Dairy Award presented by Christy Doherty to farmer, Mary Kinston. This was the category with the highest overall marks.

Peter Clarke, from Dromineer in County Tipperary was announced as the winner of the AHV Ireland Animal Health Dairy Farmer of the Year category.

Newport farmer Martin Ryan took home the award for Germinal Responsible Dairy Grassland Manager of the year.
