Daire Lynch supporters make the trip from Tipperary to  Paris to support Olympic hero

Claire Kinbsella and Denise Fleming were among the Clonmel contingent supporting Daire Lynch in Paris for the Olympic final

Family, friends and members of Clonmel Rowing Club were in Paris this morning to support Clonmel man Daire Lynch as he made history by securing an Olympic bronze medal with his double sculls partner Philip Lynch.

While huge numbers turned out to support Daire in his home town of Clonmel on the Kickham Plaza, many more made the trip to Paris to witness the Olympic final.
