The Ready to Build serviced sites in Boherlahan are available to buy at a discounted rate
Tipperary County Council is to re-advertise two Ready-to-Build low cost affordable housing sites it has up for sale in Boherlahan village.
Shane O’Dwyer agreed to Council Cathaoirleach Cllr Declan Burgess’ request to re-advertise the two sites after he reported to the Council's Special Housing meeting that they remain unsold after being advertised for sale.
They were among four sites in Boherlahan the Council advertised for sale for €25,000 to qualifying applicants in March this year under the county’s first Ready-to-Build scheme.
Tipperary was the first local authority in the country to offer Ready-to-Build sites for sale.
Mr O’Dwyer reported to councillors that one of the sites was sold and a second is potentially sold.
