Pictured are members of Thurles Palestinian Support Group are their weekly vigil for Palestinian Rights.
This vigil is held every Thursday from 7:30 pm to 8 pm in Liberty Square.
They say the key aim of the vigil is to encourage the incoming government to pass the Boycott and Divestment Bill which would send a strong message to the Israeli state.
US financial and industrial interests are currently lobbying the Irish government not to go ahead with this action.
The group urge local TDs to push for swift implementation of this Bill.
