Tipperary and Clare are set to meet tomorrow in Templemore in a hurling challenge but due to the weather changes the game is now to be played in the afternoon not the evening.
The game was originally pencilled in for an evening start but due to the weather warnings both sides and the organizers have agreed to bring it forward to a 2.30pm start to ensure the game gets played.
Tipperary manager Liam Cahill and All-Ireland winning Clare boss Brian Lohan both named experimental line ups for the encounter which is sure to draw the crowds with no intercounty game having being played for so long.
There is parking right across the town of Templemore for the game and a large crowd was expected for the original fixture but the possibility of snow and ice will mean that the earlier time (2.30pm) is more suitable for attendees.
The game is in aid of Marys Meals a charity working tirelessly to ensure those in need get help. Mary's Meals works in 16 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
