A great crowd turned up at the Templemore Arms hotel on New Year's day for the annual Helen and Myles McMorrow Memorial darts tournament.
Over 80 dart throwers entered the competition and they raised €2,500 with all of this year’s proceeds donated to the family of the late Tom “Kong” Meaney in Thurles.
The organisers would like to say a special thanks to all those who took part and also to the following who kindly supported the event: The Fogarty, Fennell and Tuohy families, Templemore Arms, Grey’s Funeral Directors, Johnny Doran, Templemore Jewellers, John’s Hair Salon, Templemore Motors, Clarkes Hardware, Peter’s Fruit and Veg, Mocklers Chemist, Mary O’s Hair Salon, Murphy’s Pub, Eurospar, Care Plus, Murphys Chemist, Gloria’s Hair Salon, Dunnes Centra, Aranna’s Hair Salon, Urlingford Arms Darts and Clonmore Darts.
