Students promote "green" fashion

Comeragh College students Emily Cronin and Jade Hodkinson have reached the next round of the Sustainable Energy of Ireland Competition with their project “Fashionasta”. It is among 50 projects to progress was selected amongst the top 50 projects in Ireland for the next round of the Sustainable Energy of Ireland Competition.

This competition is called ‘One Good Idea’ and aims to get students to be more energy efficient and combat climate change. For their project, they are visiting primary schools and raising awareness of how to look after your clothes properly and help students to be creative in making clothes from recycled materials. They hope to organise a fashion show to showcase their creations.

Congratulations to Comeragh College Students, Jade Hodkinson and Emily Cronin who are now through to the 2nd round of the Sustainable Energy of Ireland Competition and amongst the top 50 projects submitted Nationwide entitled 'One Good Idea'.
