We have also included a fun event for those who want to take part on high nellies and will have some there to be hired out, just contact us if anyone wants to do this.
At this point in time, we only have one month left and want to let people know about the event, to get them to sign up online, especially as we have a discount online until March 31st and more especially the charity for the event is Pieta House.
A reminder of event details are as follows. This event is running for the second year. It was hugely successful last year and this year we are hoping to make it even more successful. The charity for the event is Pieta House. There are 5 routes for cyclists on the day, there is a 10k, 25k, 50k, 80k & 120k which means it caters for families & children, for people who may not usually cycle and for the more serious cyclists too. Some of our cyclists come to test out the routes for the nenagh classic race which runs the following week!
The routes are really scenic, up around Ballina, Portumna, Dromineer and so on. There are also several pit stops with local people providing free food for the cyclists, this went down a treat last year and is something we want to do again this year.
To Sign up on line go to www.kiladangangaacyclingchallenge.com to avail of the online discount.
