Pictured is one of the largest crab and hazel trees in Ireland, growing in Carnahalla, west Tipperary. They were planted by the Butlers of Ormond about 250 years ago on top of a ceremonial platform fort. The crab tree which is 12 feet in girth will be showcased on May 10th on TG4 "Crinn na hEireann" at 8pm, presented by host Manchán Magan.
