Tipperary hurling captain Brendan Maher is pleased with the progress he is making following a hamstring strain picked up in training last week.
The Borris-Ileigh star missed his club game at the weekend, as did Loughmore Castleiney's John McGrath. However, both are expected to be fit for inclusion against Cork in the championship quarter final tie at Semple Stadium on Sunday July 22nd.
“I'm delighted with the way it has come on over the last few days and I am hoping to be ready for the fray against Cork,” Brendan Maher said at the launch of the provincial championships in Bru Boru, Cashel this week.
