A major seminar focusing on The Proclamation of 1916 will take part in Nenagh this weekend.
ProclaimAgain 1916 is being organised by Nenagh Risings, and is the third in a series of seminars marking Ireland's decade of centenaris. The first weekend looked at the Lockout with the second focusing on the Great War.

The events starts at 7.30pm in Nenagh Arts Centre on Friday, May 20, with an opening address by former senator and journalist Kathleen O'Meara of Nenagh Risings. The conference will then be opened by Noel Whelan, commentator and barrister.
Bookings can be made through www.nenagharts.com / 067-34400. Tickets cost €12.50 for the full weekend or €5 per event.
