The former Bishop of Killaloe, Willie Walsh, will be in Steeples Cafe, Nenagh, between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, July 2, for the local launch of his best selling memoir No Crusader.
The book was reissued by Columba Press just three weeks after its publication because of its huge success. No Crusader is a book of open and honest reflections by the Roscrea-born former bishop.
It has already enjoyed huge success at events in Roscrea, Dublin, Ennis, Limerick, Waterford and Dublin. Bishop Willie thanked to the people of Tipperary for responding warmly and supportively over the last few months.
Fearghal O’Boyle, managing director of the Columba Press, said thatbecause of the respect and admiration that people had for Bishop Walsh, they knew to expect a massive response to the book. However, after the first two weeks they were receiving calls from bookshops all over the country saying that they had run out of stock.
