Brave Tipperary gun down The Rebels on their own patch

Tipperary 0-23

Cork 1-15

Tipperary's minor hurlers showed tremendous bravery by defeating hosts Cork in a batle royale at Pairc Ui Rinn last night, to join the seniors in the Munster Final.

The Tipp lads recovered from being six points down at the start of the second half, to record a five point victory in the most testing of conditions. It was a victory which really pleased Manager Liam Cahill.

“I am so proud of the lads and what they achieved. It was a huge challenge but they rose to it and they get their rewards now by contesting the Munster Final alongside the seniors on Sunday week. I cannot speak highly enough of them,” he said.
