Tipperary's minor and senior hurlers celebrated on the double with provincial success in Pairc na nGael, Limerick on Sunday where Limerick and Waterford were both put to the sword by the Premier men.
Liam Cahill's minor set the tone for the day when they overcame a fancied Limerick side by seventeen points. And, Michael Ryan's seniors followed up with a 21 point drubbing of Waterford in the senior final to leave Tipperary supporters in rain sodden Limerick, dancing for joy.
The performances of the two teams left a very warm glow and they march on now to the All-Ireland semi-final on August 14th in Croke Park.
