The Share a Dream Foundation threw a party for the children of Rathgormack National School to thank them for raising funds for the charity.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck were among the Disney characters the children met at the thank you party in the village's Hiking & Community Centre
The school raised €510 for Share A Dream. The charity's founder Shay Kinsella visited the school to personally thank the children for their generosity.
"We receive a lot of support all over the country to help us make dreams a reality for terminally ill children but it’s amazing when you get a school like Rathgormack National School hosting an ice cream day, bringing in Confirmation money to help us raise funds so we can continue making dreams a reality," said Share A Dream project manager Ciara Brolly.
Anyone wishing to help Share a Dream continue making dreams become a reality for sick children you can contact the charity at firstname.lastname@example.org (061) 200080.
