Dualla Ploughing Association Threshing Festival

Dualla Ploughing Association launched its 2016 Threshing Festival at the home of one of its most loyal and much loved founder member John Leamy, Ballytarsna.

This year’s festival kicks off on Thursday night July 28th with a beauty night for the ladies in the Horse and Hound, Dualla. Friday night will be a night of music at the same venue while on Saturday night there will be a BBQ with music by the local band Dodging Bullets.

Sunday morning at 12 noon a tractor run will leave Dualla village, this will be followed by the International Carriage Driving Event. Other events will include a dog show, Old Style Gymkhana, Tractor Skills Competition, Best Dressed Lady and Gent, side shows and competitions. The field will be buzzing with lots of kid’s free entertainment. A monster auction will be held on Sunday afternoon with lots of bargains. All proceeds to Pieta House and Tipperary Hospice. Adm €5.
