Cashel Library was filled to the rafters on Thursday evening with well wishers at the launch of Mark Fitzell's 'The Many Faces of Cashel' Volume I - an anthology of photographs and short stories recalling the lives of the many extraordinary characters who give Cashel its soul.
Fellow author and storyteller Séan O'Duibhir - whose family on Main Street are featured in the book - said: “There has been great anticipation about the arrival of Mark’s book, The Many Faces of Cashel, and tonight’s attendance proves that.
“But I know from Mark that it was a labour of love for him. He showed fantastic commitment and dedication to the work in hand. It took maybe three years, but I think the end result is well worth it”.
