Reporting live from Croke Park in the All-Ireland senior hurling semi-final, Tipperary vs Galway.

Tipperary 2-19

Galway 2-18

Tipperary emerged by the slenderest of margins to make it back to the All-Ireland senior hurling final following an absorbing contest with Galway this afternoon.

Two second half goals in two minutes from sub John Bubbles O'Dwyer and John McGrath just about saw Tipp over the line in what was a very close fought contest all the way.

Galway had led by 1-10 to 0-11 at the break but Tipp got the goals which counted in the second half and go on now to meet Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Final on the first Sunday in September.
