Appeal against Order of Malta plans in Thurles Townparks

An appeal has been lodged to An Bord Pleanála regarding plans by the Thurles branch of the Order of Malta for a development in Bohervaroon, Thurlestownparks, Thurles.

Tipperary Co. Council had granted planning permission to the Order of Malta for “a change of condition to allow for additional uses within the building”. The plans were given the green light on July 7th last, subject to five conditions. Submissions and, or, observations were made by Vern Carroll, Liam & Kathleen Ryan, and Mr. Paddy Gleeson on June 30th.

Liam and Kathleen Ryan subsequently appealed Tipperary County Council's decision to An Bord Pleanála on August 3rd.

A decision is due to be made on or before December 6th 2016.
