Ardfinnan and Carrick homes burgled

Two homes in the Ardfinnan area and one home near Carrick-on-Suir were burgled over the past week.

Burglars broke into a house at Clonacody, Ardfinnan around 2pm last Wednesday, August 17 and broke into a second house in the same area in the early afternoon the following day, Thursday, August 18.

No property was stolen from either house, according to a Garda spokesperson, who appealed to anyone who saw suspicious vehicles or activity in the Clonacody area on these days last week to contact Cahir Garda Station at (052) 7441222.

Meanwhile, a house at Mullough on the Kilkenny Road side of Carrick-on-Suir was burgled last Thursday night/Friday morning, August 18/19. A small quantity of cash was stolen by the raiders.

Gardai are also investigating the breaking of a passenger side window of a car parked at Castle Park, Carrick-on-Suir last Friday night/Saturday morning, August 19/20.
