Laughter abounded last Friday night in Scoil Eoin Hall, Roscrea, where parents and children were treated to great entertainment by the Galway based company, 'Your Man's Puppets' and their 'Circus Stachamoose' show.
There was a great turn out for this free event, with 96 people in attendance.
It was a Culture Night event and was organised by Gleann Glas residents group, with support from the Community Development/Family Support worker in North Tipperary LEADER Partnership.
According to James Byrne, chairperson of the residents group: “We are delighted that Tipperary County Council and the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs funded last Friday night’s show and we are also grateful to Scoil Eoin for the use of the hall for this event and for other events during the year too.”
Gleann Glas residents group have been working together for their community since 2011, organising events and activities for children and families. The community house, Teach na Gréine is open five days a week, at specific times. Drop up to see what’s happening….
