Recent deaths in Tipperary. 26-9-16

We record a number of deaths in Tipperary in recent days. May they all rest in peace.

The late Chris McGrath

The death has occurred of Chris (Hopper) McGrath, "Rathkeevin", Western Road, Clonmel, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Marjorie and much loved father of Margaret (Cummins), Brian, Paul, Anthony and Críostoir. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, sons, brother P.J., sister Nora (O’Keeffe), grandchildren David, Hannah, Aidan, Ian, Liam, Fiona and Aoife, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home Monday from 4pm to 8pm with removal on Tuesday to St Mary’s Church, Irishtown. Funeral Mass on arrival at 12 noon followed by burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery. House private on Tuesday morning please.

The late Maureen O'Brien

The death has occurred of Maureen O'Brien, Ard na Gréine, Clonmel, at St Anthony’s Unit, Clonmel in her 92nd year. Sadly missed by her loving sister Phylis, brothers-in-law Joe and David, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Condon's Funeral Parlour Monday from 5.00pm, with removal at 7.30pm to Ss Peter & Paul’s Church. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 1.00pm followed by burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to Friends of St Anthony’s Unit.

The late John D'Arcy

The death has occurred of John D'Arcy, St.Luke's, Cork City, and late of Dranganmore, Tipperary. He was beloved husband of Clare and loving father of Heather, Elaine, Jane, Olga, Jack, Patrick and Eva. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, in-laws Mick, Lars and Caroline, grandchildren Oscar, Riley and Rowan, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Gathering of family and friends at his residence from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday. Cremation Service at 2pm on Wednesday at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. No flowers by request.

The late Bridget Crawford

The death has occurred of Bridget Crawford (née McCarthy), 16 McDonagh Terrace, Littleton and formerly Buffanagh, Killenaule, Thurles, peacefully at home in her 90th year. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters, sons, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles today Monday, 26th September, from 5pm to 7.30pm. Arriving at St Kevin's Church, Littleton on Tuesday, 27th, at 11am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Donations if desired to Milford Hospice.

The late Martin Finnegan

The death has occurred of Martin Finnegan, Kyle, The Commons and Kilkenny. He is deeply regretted by his loving wife Chrissie, son Pat, daughters Breda, Martina, Helen, Christina and Mary, daughter in law and sons in law. Fondly remembered by his sister Mary (Greed), brother Dan, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Reposing in Ronan's Funeral Home, Ballingarry Monday from 5pm-7pm followed by removal to the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry. Requiem mass on Tuesday morning at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Fr. James Mulcahy

The death has occurred of Very Rev Fr. James Mulcahy P.E, Flat 2, St. John's College, The Folly, Waterford and formerly of Grange. (Retired P.P, Knockanore). Sadly missed by his nephews Pat and Tom, nieces Mary and Anne, grandnephews and grandniece and great-grandnephews, his very close friends Tina and Tom, relations and many friends; deeply missed by the Bishop and clergy of the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore.

Removal from his residence this Monday evening at 5.30pm to St. Nicholas' Church, Grange, Clonmel for Mass on arrival at 7pm. Requiem Mass on (Tuesday) at 3pm in The Sacred Heart Church Knockanore, Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery,

The late Kathleen O'Mahony

The death has occurred of Kathleen O'Mahony (née Power), Bray, Wicklow and formerly of Clonmel, after a short illness. She was wife of the late Joe, loving mother of Helen, Mary, Michael, Linda and John, fun loving Granny Ka of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray. Removal from the funeral home on Tuesday, 27th September, at 5.30pm to St. Fergal’s Church, Boghall Road, Bray arriving for Reception Prayers at 6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 28th September, at 10.00am followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.

The late Brigid English

The death has occurred of Brigid English (née Russell), Lisfuncheon, formerly Woodhouse Ballyporeen, Cahir and Ballyporeen, after a long illness, in the care of the staff of Rathkeevan Nursing Home. She was loving mother of Jack, and dear sister of Nora (Ryan), Betty (Deane), John, Margaret, David and the late Tom. Sadly missed by her loving son, brothers, sisters, Jack's father Eamon, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives her many friends and carers.

The late Patrick Corcoran

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Corcoran, Grange Barna, Thurles, peacefully on Friday September 23rd 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny under the exceptional care of the nurses of SMU. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, daughters Sinéad, Fiona and Órlagh, son Tom, sons-in-law Raul, Cormac and Greg, daughter-in-law Debbie, grandchildren, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
