Recent deaths in Tipperary. 28-9-16

We record a number of deaths in Tipperary in recent days. May they all Rest in Peace.

The late Tony O'Neill

The death has occurred of Tony O'Neill, O'Rahilly Avenue, Clonmel, peacefully at Melview Nursing Home after a short illness, husband of the late Nellie, father of the late Noel and brother of the late Chris. Sadly missed by his loving sons Philip (Kilkenny), John (Mallow), brothers Tom and Desmond, sisters Marie, Esther and Patricia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law Catherine, Majella and Mary, grandchildren Noel, Karen and David nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing at Fennessy's Funeral Home, Wednesday, from 6 o'clock with removal at 7.30 o'clock to SS Peter & Paul's Church. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 1 o'clock. Funeral thereafter to St. Mary's Cemetery, Tourneena. Family flowers only please.

The late Paddy Ryan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Ryan, St. Michael's Avenue, Tipperary Town, on September 26th 2016. Sadly missed by his brothers Noel and Joe, sister Elanor, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Whelan's Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary, Wednesday evening, from 6pm with Removal at 7.30pm to St. Michael's Church, Tipperary. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10.30am and funeral afterwards to St. Michael's Cemetery, Tipperary.

The late Kay Quinlan

The death has occurred of Kay Quinlan (née Doody), Curraheen, Hollyford, on September 27th 2016, peacefully at her residence. Sadly missed by her daughter Michelle, son William, son-in-law, friend Joe, grandchildren, sisters, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at White's Funeral Home, Cappawite Thursday evening from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Removal from her residence on Friday morning at 11.30am for burial in Hollyford Cemetery at 12 noon. Sleeping until the Resurrection. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Cancer Research.

The late Michael Butler

The death has occurred of Michael Butler, (formerly Bank of Ireland) peacefully at Abbeylands, Kildorrery, dearly beloved husband of Mairead, predeceased by his brothers John, Norman and niece Audry. He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, Ursula Butler and Mary Magner, his nieces and nephews, Declan, Paul, Ursula (O'Reilly), Peter and David Butler, Bill, Dara, Jack and Sarah Magner, All his neighbours and friends in Cahir and Lahinch.

Funeral arriving at St. Mary's Church, Cahir on this Wednesday at 6.30 o'clock. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11 o' clock followed by removal to Island Crematorium, Cork. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland.

The latel Shirley Carrigan

The death has occurred of Shirley Carrigan (née Beuttell), Glengarriff, Thurles.

Predeceased by her beloved John. She was much loved by her family and will be hugely missed by her children Richard, Michael and Janet, daughters in law, Geraldine and Ruthie, grandchildren Mark, Ben and Georgina, niece, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption,Thurles on Sunday 2nd October at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, 3rd October, at Burial afterwards at Moycarkey Church. Family flowers only. Donations (if desired) to Tipperary NR Hospice. House Strictly Private.

The late Lawrence Kinsella

The death has occurred of Lawrence Kinsella, (Dublin and late of Ballyduff, Co. Tipperary, on 27th September 2016, peacefully in the loving care of the wonderful staff at Shrewsbury House Nursing Home, Clonliffe Road. Son of the late Michael and the late Bridget. He will be sadly missed by his cousins the Kinsellas of Arguga, the Walshes of Rath, the Feigherys of Kilcormack, the Egan family, and his many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, North Strand Road on Thursday from 2pm until 7.30pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Kevin's Church, Harrington Street for 11.30am Requiem Mass and afterwards to Glasnevin Cemetery, St. Paul's Section.

The late Elizabeth Duke

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Violet Duke, Ashbrook, Roscrea.

Predeceased by her husband Albert, daughter Lorraine, brother Victor & sister Olive.

Deeply regretted by her sons George & Neville, brother Sam, sister Ivy, daughters-in-law Sandra & Barbara, grandchildren Jason, Emma, Hilary, Lynn, Rebecca, Jeff, Anan & Joshua, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours & friends.

Reposing in Maher's Funeral Home, Roscrea on Wednesday evening from 6.00 with prayers at 8.00. Removal on Thursday at 2.00 arriving in St. Cronan's Church of Ireland, Roscrea for Funeral Service at 2.30.

Burial afterwards in Dungar Cemetery.

The late Patrick Horrigan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Horrigan, Avondale Estate, Portarlington and formerly Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary. Peacefully with his family at St. James's Hospital, Dublin. Loving Dad of the late baby Sally Caroline. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Kathleen, daughter Geraldine and her partner Martin, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters extended family and friends.

Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Wednesday from 5.30pm with removal at 6.50pm arriving St. Michael's Church, Portarlington at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington. Family flowers only please.
