The Tipperary Singers celebrate a spepcial milestone this year.
This is the 45th year of the choir and they plan to enjoy the year in celebration of this great achievement.
“Throughout the 45 years of the choir, the motto has been to sing for joy and in so doing, bring joy to others while raising funds to help communities and people in need. Thousands of euro have been raised over the years and this, plus the friendship and support among members, has made every moment of their singing worthwhile,” said Musical Director Betty Lynch.
The choir will begin the year in preparation for their immensely popular Christmas Concert which so many say, is an evening of beauty and peace and a lovely escape from the hassle of life and prepares you to enjoy the true meaning of Christmas.
Each year the choir invites both men and women to join them. The members of the choir are its life's blood and are always badly needed.
This is an ideal time to join as a new programme begins, so, if you feel like singing, we urge you to come and join the ranks. Friendship and support for each other is a vital part of what is The Tipperary Singers so, join them on Monday night at the Community Centre where a hearty welcome is assured to all members.
