The Suir Valley Environmental Group presents a night of traditional and folk music with Ned Vaughan and friends in Lisadobber Pub this Friday, October 14 from 9pm.
The public are invited to come along for a great night of music, raffle and spot prizes. All musicians welcome.
The night is in aid of the Suir Valley Environmental Group’s ongoing campaign to stop the development of wind turbines on Carrigadoon and Currgahdobbin Hills above Faugheen, Lisadobber, Ahenny and Ballyneale near Carrick-on-Suir.
Dutch wind energy firm DunoAir was refused planning permission to locate a windfarm on these two hills but the firm has appealed Tipperary Co. Council's decision to An Bord Pleanala.
