The Cahir Tidy Towns, the Tipperary County Council local office and the Pathways to Employment scheme will be undertaking a revamp of the Sensory Garden over the coming weeks. Materials will be supplied by Cahir Tidy Towns and with the help of the local engineer, John O’Meara and it is hoped to be back in action for Christmas.
The Pathways to Employment Group who are based in the Enterprise Centre will complete a plan of action and price the materials needed for the garden. The decking has been removed as it was rotten and the fountains will be restored to working order. Other jobs that to be completed are be the planting of new shrubs and the trimming back of old ones. The revamp of the Sensory Garden was well overdue and we look forward to seeing the end results. Anyone wishing to sponsor materials or plants is most welcome to do so, just contact the Enterprise Centre Pathways to Employment Project.
