Death of Mrs Maura English, mother of former Tipperary hurler and manager Nicky Engish

The death has occurred of Maura English (née O'Donovan), Cullen, Tipperary, mother of All Ireland winning Tipperary hurler and manager Nicky English.

He won All Ireland medals with Tipperary in 1989 and 1991 and managed Tipperary to the Liam McCarthy Cup in 2001.

Mrs English, who died on November 6, is sadly missed by  her loving family, husband Donie, son Nioclás (Nicky), daughters Eilis and Fionnuala, brother Sean, grandchildren Paul, Ruth, Alex, Róise and Grace, daughter-in-law Anne, sons-in-law Owen and Geno, sisters-in-law Mary, Bridie, Essie and Pauline, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 Funeral arriving at St. Patrick's Church, Cullen on Tuesday for funeral prayers at 3.30pm. condolences to family will follow until 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11.30am and Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

The late Thomas Kennedy 

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Kennedy, Townspark, Cahir and late of Lisnagaul, Bansha, on November 7th 2016,  husband of the late Eileen (Nellie). Sadly missed by his brothers John and Michael, sisters Peggy and Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Whelan’s Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary Town, on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to the Church of the Annunciation, Bansha. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11.30am and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Sr. Louise Ryan

The death has occurred of Sr Louise (Josie) Ryan, Little Sisters of the Assumption, Ballybrack and formerly of Holycross, Thurles,  and Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey, on  November 6, 2016  in St Vincent’s Hospital after a short illness. Deeply regretted by her sisters, Sadie Ryan and Sr Philomena PVBM (Lily), her brothers-in-law Donal and Jim, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, friends and her community of Little Sisters of the Assumption.

 Reposing in the community house in Ballybrack, Tuesday, from 2pm with removal to the Church of the Apostles, Ballybrack arriving for 5pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
