Seminar will help community groups with project finance advice

At the recent Clann Credo 20th Anniversary Conference in Dublin, President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, with Sr. Patricia Wall of Slieve Ardagh Rural Development Company Ltd.

Clann Credo, Ireland’s leading Community Loan Finance Provider, is hosting a free information seminar on Monday, November 21, from 7pm to 9pm at Halla Na Féile in Cashel.

The seminar is aimed at community and voluntary groups who could benefit from Clann Credo’s Community Loan Finance. These include sports clubs, those wishing to avail of the LEADER grants and any community group who could transform their community with Community Loan Finance.

Many community leaders have big dreams of what their organisation could do, but finance is often an obstacle. Clann Credo helps communities access Community Loan Finance because they believe that finance should not be one of the obstacles voluntary groups face. With Community Loan Finance Clann Credo helps organisations make their vision a reality.

Susan Gallagher- Clann Credo’s Social Finance Executive for the Southern region who will discuss how communities can avail of Community Loan Finance for LEADER grants

Michael Begley-Project Development Officer at South Tipperary Development (CLG) who will talk about the grant funding for community development, and the new LEADER programme.

Justin McDermott, Fundraising Manager with Jigsaw Galway, on Developing effective fundraising and sponsorship strategy for your organisation.

Eibhlín Ní Riain, of Halla Na Féile, Cashel, who will describe her experience of Community Loan Finance with Clann Credo
