Seventy one year old man dies in Tipperary farm accident


Investigations are under way following the death of a man in Tipperary on Monday in a farming accident.

The accident happened at Ballybrenogue, Cullen in the west of the county.

The dead man was seventy one.

Investigations have been started by the gardai and by the Health and Safety Authority.

The accident happened shortly after 4pm.

It is understood that the man was working under a vehicle on his farm when it fell on him.

He was rushed to Univerity Hospital Waterford where he was pronounced dead.
