Cashel Tidy Towns install new waterwheel feature

Cashel Tidy Towns Group are still kept busy with their latest project.

They've been building stone walls and stone seating which face The Rock of Cashel to go with the main feature of a Waterwheel.

It can easily be seen at the Cashel end of the old Dublin Road.

The wheel was made at a training programme for young men from Cashel and Tipperary some years ago, supported by South Tipperary Development Company & Tipperary Regional Youth Services and came to Cashel Tidy Town through its participation with the TUS Programme following discussions with Cashel Tidy Town and Richard Wood TUS Team leader in Cashel at that time.
