A group of innovative transition year pupils from St. Ailbe’s Secondary school has won a place in the County finals of the Student Enterprise competition.

Holly Davern, (Manager), Jayne Lawlor (Finance Manager) and Sallyann O’Dwyer (Sales and Marketing Manager) make up the group called En Fleek who created a new innovative product created to make the lives of makeup lovers easier and cheaper. En Fleek repairs and restores your broken makeup powders such as eye shadows and bronzers and moulds them back to being perfect and smooth again in just a few minutes, so you never have to replace or throw away your expensive makeup away again.

It is also a makeup brush cleaner and disinfectant so it kills all the bacteria that builds' up in your brushes that helps to prevent spots or infections.

“We came up with the idea of En Fleek as all of us are makeup crazy and we tried to think of a gap in the makeup industry,” explained Sales & Marketing Manager Sallyann O’Dwyer. “Holly Davern, the Manager of En Fleek, came up with the idea when she experienced the heartbreak of dropping her favorite bronzer and having to throw it away and replace it. That was when we decided we would come up with a solution to this problem.”

En Fleek costs only €6 and the team is planning to sell in their online store to increase sales and to stock their product in local shops and chemists. “Someday, we hope to expand further into the makeup industry by launching other products,” added Sallyann.
