Almost 12,000 people in County Tipperary are projected to benefit from the latest round of small grants awarded from The Tony Ryan Fund for Tipperary at The Community Foundation for Ireland.

The Tony Ryan Fund for Tipperary was established in 2013, by the Tony Ryan Trust, to give financial support to evidence-based initiatives that support children and young people in the county to reach their full potential.
The core focus of the funding was to improve the life experience of children and young people living in County Tipperary. Funding of €1.9 million was committed and disbursed over a five-year timeframe. So far the fund has awarded €1.8 million to projects in Tipperary.
