Cashel St. Patrick's Day Parade - updated details

The Rock of Cashel last night, bathed in green for St. Patrick's Day

This year's Cashel St. Patrick's Parade will begin at 2pm on Saturday, March 17.
The theme is 'ACTIVATE'

The area outside the Bank of Ireland will be occupied by the review truck from 5pm on Friday. Please leave this space free, if the truck boxes you in, your car will be there until 7pm on Saturday.

Crowd safety barriers will be in place from 1.15pm. We’d love a few volunteers to help us put them in place.
Customers are asked not to park on Main street from 1pm .

Main Street will close as soon as the Cork to Dublin bus passes through, at approx 1:40pm
The parade will begin when the Dublin to Cork bus passes through town, it will be re-routed along Friar Street (approx 2pm ).
The Parade will end at approximately 3: 30pm.
The road will open by 4pm .
Prize giving will be in Halla Na Feile at 4:30pm

The Shop Window Competition is on again this year, with judging on Monday 19th of March. We wish you the best of luck with your shop displays in 2018.

Weather is predicted to be very cold so remember to wrap up warm folks!
