Jack Cremmins from Clonmel wins Craftsperson of the Year award

Jack Cremmins

Clonmel man Jack Cremmins was named Craftsperson of the Year at IT Carlow.

He also received the student MEETA award at the Engineers Ireland awards, presented at the International Society of Automation (ISA Ireland) Section 2017 Honours and Awards at UCC, for developing an IOT platform for modern process measurements.

Jack served his apprenticeship as an Electrical Instrumentation craftsperson with Hanley Controls, Gurtnafleur, Clonmel (where he still works) and has worked on several major projects in the area.

He is son of Ellen and John Cremmins, Marlfield Road, Clonmel.
