Tipperary crime latest: Gardai are investigating two assaults in Roscrea

Gardai are investigating a number of assaults in Roscrea over the past week.

The assaults are being described as “serious”.

A male was assaulted and received injuries at Sean Eaglais on Tuesday of last week. Another male was attacked and injured at Glean Glas last Friday.

In separate incidents, a male youth was arrested in Roscrea on the same day for being intoxicated following an altercation.

Two males were arrested for public disorder at Silver Street, Nenagh, following a row at 2.30am last Sunday.

Meanwhile, Gardaí say they are aware of reports of antisocial behaviour taking place over recent days at Dromineer.

No formal complaints have been made as yet, but Gardaí say they are monitoring the situation and anyone with an issue should contact Nenagh Garda station.
