Former Tipperary GAA Board chairman Donal Shanahan to run in general election

Donal Shanahan has announced his intention to run in the next general election.

 

Former Tipperary GAA Board chairman Donal Shanahan is to run as an independent candidate in the next general election.

He announced his intention to run at a weekend event.

He said that since making the decision to contest the election he has been very encouraged with the goodwill and messages of support that he has received throughout the Tipperary constituency.

The Toomevara man is widely known throughout Tipperary GAA circles.
